What We Collect

AlgoMindset collects basic usage analytics, device information, and user preferences to improve the learning experience. We do not sell personal data and only gather the minimum information required to keep the site running smoothly.

How We Use It

  • Measuring page performance and engagement.
  • Personalizing content recommendations and remembering preferences.
  • Ensuring security, fraud prevention, and overall platform reliability.

What a recruiter assessment records

Recruiter assessments are proctored, and candidates see exactly this before they consent — nothing is captured before that consent screen, and nothing is captured outside the test itself.

  • Screen recording: a JPEG frame of the shared screen roughly every 10 seconds, plus one whenever you paste, copy, leave the tab or exit fullscreen. Frames are capped at 700 per attempt and stored in our database, not with a third party.
  • Camera snapshots: periodic still images from the webcam you granted, if the recruiter enabled camera proctoring. No audio is recorded anywhere on this site.
  • Activity events: timestamps of tab switches, focus loss, fullscreen exits, copies and pastes — including the first 160 characters of pasted text, so the recruiter can tell a pasted solution from a pasted variable name.
  • Your code and results: the code you submit, which hidden tests passed, and how many attempts you made.

Only the recruiter who created the test — and anyone they choose to share a report link with — can see an attempt. When that recruiter deletes the test, the attempts and every recorded frame are deleted with it.

Practice on the rest of the site records none of this. Interview Mode and the behavioral round store your transcript, your code and your scorecard against your own account so your readiness profile can be built from real history; nobody else can see them.
